Two rooms, one kitchen: a tasting-menu dining room and its adjoining bar for chef Ben Staley.
The Alder Room, an intimate multi-course tasting room, and Alta, its more casual bar and a la carte companion, share one kitchen and one pared-back material language: dark surfaces, warm wood, and precise lighting that puts the food and the craft at centre stage. Named one of Canada’s Best New Restaurants by Air Canada’s enRoute in 2017. Logo design by Denis Lenarduzzi.
